April Currently time!

Listening: Going through my normal morning routine... Today Show, followed by Price is Right, then Kelly & Michael... nothing... then The Talk, Let's Make a Deal, and Ellen. This is my DAILY routine :)

Loving: We have had AMAZING weather recently... warm and sunny. Last night, it rained a bit so today is colder, but the high is still 77!!

Thinking: My house is so dirty... it's because I have so much CRAP but nowhere to put it!! So, my Project Life stuff is in the living room... our folding chairs for soccer games are by the front door, there's boxes all over by the fireplace... GAH. I guess I should clean it on my "spring break" this week!

Wanting: Rain. It rained last night but for only about 20 minutes... I want rain for days and days.

Needing: I've started selling some of my craft things and I've made pretty good money for it! So, I need to get the rest of the orders out today :) I also want to create soooooo many new TPT products... I've got the ideas, just need the time!

Advice: Be friendly. If you are friendly to others, they'll be friendly to you. Hold discussions and fix things that are wrong - someone at work said yesterday... kill them with kindness and they'll be nice to you :)

My all time favorite person is my momma. That woman has been to hell and back for me, and would do it again in a heartbeat. She's my rock, my best friend, and one of the very few that truly knows who I am. She's there when I need her and I could not be happier to have such a great Momma!

Place

My favorite place has to be the beach. I know, so cliche. But, it's the one place I feel like ME. I love the water, the sand, and the sun. I also find it very relaxing to just be able to look at the waves, hear the sounds, and so forth. It also reminds me of the past times I've had when we went to New Jersey EVERY. SINGLE. SUMMER. when I was younger! My favorite.

Thing

A blanket. Sooo simple, but I am a blanket hoarder! Nothing provides warmth, safety, or comfort like a blanket. In every room of my house, you will find a blanket for each person that lives in the house. The kitchen included!! I'm not kidding... :)

Animal

I don't have just one... I've LOVED all the pets we've had (Ozzy, Kitty, Damon, Jesse, Missy, Socks, and Tucker), but if it weren't a pet choice, I'd go with an elephant as my animal of choice. I say it all the time and I'll continue saying it... when I get older, I WILL be that person that has an elephant in the backyard. You just watch!

I mean... how can someone say that is NOT cute!?

Tucker is HOME. He came home Thursday afternoon, although I could have brought him home Thursday morning! They called and said he had such a bounce back that they were SO happy and were ready to let him go home without having to have too much observance. So, we're feeding him a tablespoon of food, half a pill, and 2 ml of amoxicillin in the morning and in the evening.

I think we picked up the wrong puppy from the hospital though because he is a WILD child and is hyper as can be... the opposite of what he was when I first dropped him off!!

But, I am so happy to have him home and I know Cody is, too. SO, I appreciate the kind words, prayers, and continuous thoughts - it's y'all who brought him home to us so early :)

Landform UNIT Video and GIVEAWAY! And Tuck Tuck Update

UPDATE ON TUCK: He's doing FANTASTIC. He ate twice today (Wednesday), ate through his catheter (they replaced it.. oh golly), and is up and moving around. Playing a little, too. Said they are going to keep him for one more day at least (Thursday), but he could potentially be home as early as Friday :) thank you for all the kind words & prayers - Cody and I truly appreciate each and every one of you!!

I FINALLY finished my landform unit!! I am so excited to tell y'all all about it.

I decided to create a video to introduce my new packet. I'm going to warn you now... it's a lengthy video but I go through each activity & give little details. You can fast forward, but you may miss something - just a warning!!!

DO NOT judge me on how dweeby I sound. It's my first screencast for my blog, but I had fun making it!!

Baby Tucker Needs Your Prayers

I've got a somber post today, but I gotta ask for your prayers & good thoughts to be sent our way as a fur-family!

Tucker started feeling poorly on Sunday morning - he would not eat, would not drink. He wouldn't run, his spark had gone, and I knew something was wrong, but thought it was just upset tummy (who wants to eat when your belly hurts?? Not me...).

We were going to wait until tomorrow to take him to the veterinarian's office, but him throwing up all day long and not keeping anything down, I knew something wasn't right.

His temperature was fine, his stool sample came back negative for any parasites or things of that nature, but he was tested for parvo, and that came back positive.

If you don't know what that is, just like I didn't know until after the veterinarian told me, it's a HIGHLY contagious virus. His small intestines are being ripped apart and being shredded, which is what makes him very sick. There's another strand that will affect the heart, but we will not know if he has that until after a couple of days.

The bad thing about this virus...  it comes with a pretty good chance of fatality. Yep, I said that f word. Talk about heartbroken.

Tucker is struggling and is being hospitalized for AT LEAST three days, if not more. Now, if you're a fur momma, that's about as bad of news as having your human baby hospitalized.

At the moment, Tucker is hooked up to IVs galore, being given antibiotics as often as possible, and is going to be watched intensely 24/7.

He's one of the cutest, sweetest pups I've ever known. He's learning SO much every day and I am so proud of where he's come from when we got him to now - he knows what the word NO and what the words, "Kisses only" means!

So, please keep this spunky boy in your prayers! Tucker baby, you're going to make it!!
