October Currently
Linking up for the October Currently at Farley's blog, Oh Boy 4th Grade. You should probably go link up, too! :)
For the book, it's supposed to be our all time fav October book. I have more than one, but I chose this one specifically because it's monsters. And I love funny monsters! (Monsters, Inc., anyone?!) This book is PERFECT for reading during Halloween time, as it's all about monsters getting their haircut. It's super cute & has some pretty good illustrations. I love it!
I love doing this each month (I missed September... oops) because it shows my focus each month at the beginning. I'm realizing it's the same needing mostly every month so I should PROBABLY get on that today... ok, tomorrow. :)
Have a good day, y'all!
Now I'm wanting a brownie too! I found you through Farley's linkup. Love your blog design!

Awesome stuff! I will have to check out the link!
ReplyDelete.............. I wanna brownie now! :)
I too need to work on organizing my Pinterest boards. I didn't realize that I pinned soooo many pins. It is a daunting task but it will be so much better when I get mine done. I enjoyed visiting your blog. I didn't catch what grade you taught. I teach 2nd grade in Kansas and LOVE it. Hope you have a great Thursday.

That's what I tell myself! I don't realize how many pins I have until I look back and I'm like... wow. I don't teach in my own classroom just yet - fresh out of college. But I'm subbing at the moment until we move in mid-November, then hopefully a real job! :) Thanks for coming by, Tammy!

We have the same book choice. LOVE it! I also need to organize my files and pinterest boards. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Monsters Inc. and am super excited about the new movie! Take organizing in small chunks. Maybe 15 minutes a day. You will be surprised at how quickly you make progress. :) That's how all my house work gets done. I work for 15 minutes and then take a small break. If I feel up for more, I set another 15 minute timer.

I think you just inspired me to organize my pintrest boards. I really should organize my computer files but they are to far gone....I probably should have done that 3 years ago. :) Lattes and Laughter
ReplyDeleteIt's just such a daunting task, Julia! But, I'm going to take the advice that Mrs. L. left me above & approach it that way! :)
