Hey everybody! Back for the second day of ABCs of Miss V! We're onto the letter B.
Today's letter is all about this journey of blogging and the friends I've made. I have had some of the best memories from this new hobby of mine and I don't regret it one bit.
I began blogging on June 6th, 2012. It's only been a few months but this blog has grown SO much since I first started. I started blogging because I wanted this blog to capture my journey through the educational field. Well, that's a little bit difficult when I'm not immersed into it just yet... what with school and moving and everything else on my plate. But, I still intend to go back to talking about education and what it means to me... you'll see with more letters as they come along!
Anyway... now this blog is more about my life and my loves. I use it to show off the crafts I made (and by no means am I a professional at anything I do), the recipes I love, and the people that are important in my life. I love showing off the products I make because I am SO proud that I have been able to figure these things out and to put my ideas to work. I like to link up with linky parties {see any of these posts} and share my thoughts & opinions on things.
Blogging has become my obsession as well as the way that I can talk about just anything. I love mostly everything about blogging and I'm so happy that I took the plunge to get into this hobby. It's pretty high up there on my list... maybe even above Pinterest! I really cannot wait to see where this journey of blogging takes me and who I meet along the way. I love what I do and I cannot wait for it to evolve!
Like I said, I LOVE linky parties!
Four of my most AMAZING bloggy friends/mentors "boo-ed" me this week! Those four friends are Maria from Curious Firsties, Lisa from Learning is Something to Treasure, and Katie & Lisen from Second Grade Smartypants!
So, here's the linky!
1. If you've been booed, copy and paste the above pic and these "rules" into your post.
2. Give a shout out to the blogger who booed you and link back to their site!
3. Share 3-5 October activities, books, products (yours or someone else's), or freebie(s) that you love!
4. Share the boo love with 5 bloggers - make sure you check this link to make sure you don't boo someone again - I've Been Booed!
So, here's my sharing!
1. Below is my favorite October/Halloween book. One cute book about haircuts of all kinds - especially great for those kiddos that are scared of haircuts!
2. The great Halloween Fun pack with eight literacy activities & two craftivities put together by the fantastic Amy Lemons. She's quite talented, if I do say so myself!
4. I love love love the way my Pumpkin Parts of Speech Sorting Game as well as my Fall Themed Sentence Builders turned out. I created them with the intention to give students practice with the parts of speech, so they're great for language arts time or center time!
5. And last but not least, I love love love the two spooky packs (Spooky Math Centers and Spooky Literacy Centers) from the amazing Katie & Lisen. They're both FULL of activities and these gals did an amazing job on them.
So now, the bloggers I'm going to BOO are:
Brian from Hopkins' Hoppin' Happenings
Heather from Heather's Heart
Laura from Love to Teach :) (this is a different type of boo than the one you've been booed with, Laura!)
Allie from The Gypsy Teacher
Julia from Lattes and Laughter (this is a different type of boo than the one you've been booed with, Julia!)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
See y'all tomorrow for letter C!
